  12. I was using Zoom V.32 modem to connect my Solaris 2.4 x86
  13. to my Solaris 2.4 SPARC 20 over PPP. It worked pretty well.

  15. But, after I replaced Zoom V.32 modem with USRobotics 28.8
  16. internal modem, PPP won't start any more. Even though I could
  17. "tip" into the modem on x86 (solaris 2.4), but in asppp.log,
  18. no "OK" or "CONNECT" is returned back from modem. So the
  19. chat gdial of PPP starting process failed.
